Its a very good place to know about the culture and history of tribes of our state
Bhopal states museum and tribal museum are in the same campus. The state museum is vast one and having so many collections. Especially the museum is maintained well. There are collections of sculptures, stones, excavated products like ornaments,earthern pots, coins, stamps, miniature, inscriptions and the list goes on.. it has 2 floors. Need to spend enough time to explore each part of the museum.
Special mention - they allow us to take pictures inside.

Collection of statues is good. There's not a lot of information about these sculptures at the museum - it is mostly left to interpretation. Fossil section is underwhelming. If you're a history and culture enthusiast, this is a must visit atleast once. Don't miss the chamunda head
